Todays feature focuses on a movie that was released mid 2017, but I am just now seeing it. The thriller stars Halle Berry and although she is known for very well in the movie industry this is probably the worst movie I have ever seen her in. Now this isn't the only movie Berry has done like this, she was in The Call, a movie produced back in 2013 which followed the same story line of a kid being in danger.
Coming back into theaters, the Transformers series make a shocking surprise on the big screen, but this time the leading role is fulfilled by a teenage girl. The switch from a boy or a middle age man to a young girl drew in a new crowd, gaining a larger audience. As of February 4, 2019 the film sits in the 25th spot in the Box office charts, but sits in the top five movies to watch in my heart.
The idea of the movie was cute, i'll give it that. But a lot of the content felt as if it was forced so much so it could feel relatable to teens, in a way being completely cheesy. On the other hand I did love the relationship between Charlie and Bee, the two were on a journey of self discovery while also protecting each other at the same time.
